Uptown Greenville, NC Hotel

 
Student design competition for the design of the new hotel in Uptown Greenville, NC.

For our senior capstone project, the senior class worked with a real local client, John Van Coutren of Prime Investments & Development, LLC. Van Coutren is building a new hotel in the heart of Uptown Greenville and came to the senior interior design students of East Carolina for ideas. There was a competition held between the three groups of senior students, with a first and second place prize. In this competition, we had three formal presentations to Prime Investments & Development, LLC., where members of the development board would review and critic our designs. The images below are from my team’s submission. My team went on to win second place are Van Coutren is using pieces of our design concepts in his hotel.
