This project entailed real clients, Dean and Barbara, building their home in East Tennessee. The couple and their four children had many specific requirements of the kitchen such as a large island with seating for six people, space for computer use, a homework/message center area, space for wine storage, pantry cabinets, and space for a custom cooktop hood crafted by the owner. The client chose the cabinet style and stain, warm color pallet, and transitional style. The rest of the design of the kitchen was left up to the students.
